 become a total wreck. Possibly position is Blaauwberg, 6
 miles north of Cape Point. No lives lost.


 Caterina Doge   Cape Point   Oliphantsbos /   Drifted close inshore and was wrecked north of   1886/06/03
 North of   Oliphantsbos. Lost near Matroos Dam at Cape Point.  Lies
 Matroosdam   300 yards from Oliphatsbos Point. 7 miles north of the
 Kafir and the Star of Africa.
 Vessel broke up rapidly and 5 lives lost - mate, 2nd mate,
 2 seamen and a cabin boy were drowned. Victims buried
 at the Italian cemetery (Italiaanse Kerkhof) near
 Olifantsbos.
