Conclusion

There were numerous other close contacts between Wynberg and Kalk Bay which cannot be
covered within the scope of this article. It is clear, however, that these two thriving and beautiful

villages, so different in setting, had much in common and were complementary to each other in

supplying the needs of the people who enjoyed residence in both Wynberg and Kalk Bay.
