Fig. 2.1: Aerial photograph of the southern Cape Peninsula. Red line demarcates the northern
overland boundary which runs 13.5 kilometres eastward from False Bay to the Atlantic
seaboard on the west and encompasses an area to the south - 77.5 sq kilometres in extent.
Originally incorporated into the erstwhile Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve this area
remains today the southernmost Cape of Good Hope Section of the greater Table Mountain
